A weekly story time for children 5 and under encourages adult (parent, grandparent, babysitter)/child interaction through interactive stories, songs, rhymes, music, and movement. This special time is followed by hands-on activities that invite the adult and child to play, learn, and explore in a nurturing environment that supports fine motor development, creative play, sensory exploration, and an introduction to early science, math, and pre-reading skills. It is held each Wednesday in the Garden of Knowledge Library from mid September through mid May at 9:30 or 10:30.
